| General comment on data set | This dataset represents hydrogen produced by domestic refineries through the steam methane reforming process. It is based on a model established by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) for the Korean EPD database. The data is based on field data provided by companies possessing representative technologies, thereby reflecting the actual status of hydrogen production. The foreground data is combined with a Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) model that integrates the KEITI LCI database with background data regarding energy supply systems, auxiliary processes, and materials from Ecoinvent v3.12. Therefore, this dataset encompasses all relevant process steps and technologies across the entire supply chain represented by the "cradle to gate" Life Cycle Inventory. The purity of the produced hydrogen is 99.9%. |
